The Last Song!
By: Nicholas Sparks

Setting: It takes place in two different places. First, it takes place in New York with Ronnie’s mom and little brother, this is where they live. Second, in Myrtle Beach with Ronnie’s dad and little brother, during their summer break.
The culture; meaning what is life like in this novel, is in a way different but not really. In the beginning she is upset and not feeling good at all about life, closer to the end she starts to realize that what she has is good compared to other things. Ronnie starts to enjoy life!!!

Protagonist: The main character is “Ronnie”! It is taken from her point of view throughout the novel. She develops as well; first she is without a dad and is upset, mad, and is quiet. Then when she goes to her dads for the summer she acts like she is too good to talk to him; kind of like she is taking it out on him for not being there when she was little and helping her mother raise her and her little brother. At the end of the summer break she starts to open up with her dad! Also she fines a guy and that changes everything!

Antagonist: One of the people that oppose the main character is Blaze, in the beginning when Ronnie meets her they become friends. When they start to hang out Blaze thinks she is trying to take her boyfriend but it was the other way around, he was flirting with Ronnie. Well that is when the opposition started from Blaze, at the end of the novel they deal with the problem between them.

The Hook I Got From The Author: First, all my friends had read this novel and told me that I should read it. When I started to read it, it told part of the ended. Let’s just say that it made me want to read it even more; I love “love stories”.

Summary: It’s about Ronnie and her little brother going to Myrtle Beach for the summer with their dad. When they get there Ronnie acts terrible toward her dad and during the stay she meets a guy named Will and she describes him “well”. This is when she starts to open up a little better, but she is still closed toward him. Her dad starts to get weak and sick, to find out he has cancer. When she was little her dad taught her how to play the piano; Julliard offered her a scholarship that year but she didn’t take it cause she was upset still over her dad. At the end of the summer when it was time for them to leave Ronnie ended up staying with her dad till he passed.

Theme: The theme is “RELATIONSHIPS”!
One of the lessons the author wants the reader to have learned when reading this novel is that no matter what happens in life you should look at all the details before choosing the way or path you should go.

My Hook: If you want to find out what the title The Last Song means then you need to read this book!!!

15 Years from Now!!!

Ask yourself where will you be in 15 years from now? What will you look like, what you will be doing, where you will be living and so on? I will be 32; I have two ways to look at it! My two ways are: one 32 in today’s society and two 32 in the new Earth. This is a good way to express your thoughts and meditate on what your plans have to offer.
First, I see myself still living in Batesville, AR, owing Quail Valley Estates Apartments. I will have all my animals; which include horses, cats, and dogs. Hopefully I will be married and taking care of two magnificent children, my names that I would want is Hallie Raye and Hayden Ray a girl and a boy.  My parents would be around 93 to 96 so I would be taking care of them as well; also my husband’s parents. I would be pioneering full-time in the ministry; my family would be doing the same or getting close to it.
Next, the Bible says that we should be keeping on the watch; which means that Armageddon is right around the corner. That is when satin is thrown in the abyss for a thousand years, and the wicked will be destroyed. After that has happened then the Earth will be turned into a paradise; which I call the new Earth. So if all this has happened, then I see myself loving life and serving Jehovah full-time forever in a paradise. Like it says (go there for and make disciples)! I will also get married when the time is right and have at least two kids.
Finally, however my life is its going to be good no matter what happens in life. I know this because I have Jehovah by my side and as long as I’m doing well; he will protect me THROW EVERYTHING. The new Earth could be before I’m 32 or after, either way I know it’s coming; I just don’t know when.
In conclusion, I had two ways to express 15 years from now. You should see how many ways you can come up with. So ask yourself where will you be in 15 years from now? What will you look like, what you will be doing, where you will be living and so on? This is a good question everyone should ask there selves; express your thoughts and meditate on what your plans have to offer.

Book review!

Copper Sun
By: Sharon Draper

The book is about slavery; some of the things that they went through and had to face. The main character is Amera! She plays a very good role through the whole book; some of the others are Besa, Polly, Teenie, Timothy, Mr. and Mrs. Derby, and Clay. There are many more! Amera lost her family and all her friends in the beginning; her and Besa were to get married that year. But solders came and tore up everything including them. During their journey and being sold Amera and Besa put up a hard and struggling fight. The sad part is they get separated at the auction! Amera has this hope that if she gets away she will find Besa, and then they will go together to freedom. What a BIG Dream!!! She does have that chance and she takes it and believe it or not she finds Besa. The question is do they make it or better yet does he go with her, and does he feel the same as before?

CopperSun!

Besa and Amari are similar to teen relationships today by how they love each other and don’t want to hurt each other. They are different in many ways first they are to get married at 16 and also they have a different kind of passion for each other. Amari has a great respect for him, so much that she would do anything for him. I think that they will end up together at the end of all this slavery and live happily ever after, and have many kids.
